On the catwalks of Lanvin's spring/summer 2014 collection, we discovered the Paperbag. Under the direction of the talented and late Alber Elbaz, the tote bag was reinvented both in its material and in the way it was carried. Despite a format that would naturally have been worn on the shoulder, it was carried folded and in the hand on the catwalk, as one would hold a cornet, a bag without a handle. A little shiny, a little aged leather, a little crumpled, the Paperbag perfectly matches the outfits on the catwalk. When folded, the bag is tiny, taking up no space like a plastic bag. Unfolded, it's large and practical. Lanvin's expertise is evident in the high quality of the materials used. This bag is robust. The interior lining is chic, with nothing left to chance.
